The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with over 12.7 million citizens, is the sixth most populous state in the United States. With that many people vying for a place to live, it can be tough to find the perfect place houses for rent. Especially if you have one or more pets that you love, and would not even consider getting rid of.

Some landlords have townhouses for rent, but will not allow pets. I can understand if they had one bad experience with a tenant's pet, but in my opinion they are silly to miss out on so many potential tenants... especially since pet owners are some of the nicest and most caring people you would ever want to meet!

The eastern half of the state is more densely populated, and features many large cities such as Harrisburg, Allentown, Lancaster, York, Reading, and Scranton.
