The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with over 12.7 million citizens, is the sixth most populous state in the United States. With that many people vying for a place to live, it can be tough to find the perfect place houses for rent. Especially if you have one or more pets that you love, and would not even consider getting rid of.

Some landlords have townhouses for rent, but will not allow pets. I can understand if they had one bad experience with a tenant's pet, but in my opinion they are silly to miss out on so many potential tenants... especially since pet owners are some of the nicest and most caring people you would ever want to meet!

Landlords who are looking for new tenants to fill vacancies should think about giving pet-owning tenants another try. A landlord could quite easily use RentalAds.com to quickly fill their empty rental properties with wonderful new people.

Much of Pennsylvania is rural, and there is a lot of working land for those who wish to live on a farm. If you're really an animal lover then this might be an option for you, since you can have a practically unlimited number of animals.

There are also many private and picturesque vista views available from houses on the side of the Appalachian Mountains. There are cabin rentals and lake house rentals here, where your animals would have plenty of space to run and explore.

However most people in Pennsylvania live in or near the major cities. And in this case you have to be more careful when looking for an apartment for rent. Landlords sometimes mark their rental listings as “no pets allowed”. I've heard of people giving up their pets in order to secure a lease that they wanted, but I could never imagine doing that... I love the time I spend with my cats and the great feeling it gives me. I would not trade that in for the world! However if you have dogs then it can be even more difficult.

Also there are a LOT of cities in Pennsylvania, some with more pet-friendly rentals than others. In the southwest corner of the state is Pittsburgh, and the city of Erie in the northwest corner (right on the shore of Lake Erie). The eastern half of the state is more densely populated, and features many large cities such as Harrisburg, Allentown, Lancaster, York, Reading, and Scranton.

And of course there is Philadelphia, the largest city in the state and the fourth largest in the United States. If you're looking for a house or condo for rent in Philadelphia, then RentalsAds.com is definitely the best option for you!
